Description
The SAM® Splint is built from a thin core of aluminum alloy, sandwiched between two layers of closed-cell foam. The SAM® Splint is extremely pliable and requires only wrap or tape to provide the necessary strength to support any fractured or injured limb. Bent into any of three simple curves, it becomes extremely strong and supportive for any fractured or injured limb. The SAM® Splint is extremely moldable, and soft enough to cut with ordinary household scissors. The result: with the proper choice of curves outlined in the training guide, almost any bone in the body can be splinted.

Thank you, for bringing this item back. I noticed it sold out fast when I was restocking my IFAK/MFAK a couple of weeks ago. I recently used mine, to assist another hiker, on the ATC. He injured his ankle badly. I didn’t want to take chances with just a sprain bandage. Great product! The stability it gives is astronomical! A definite “must have” on an arduous trek!
