These are 3M Peltor COMTAC ACH Dual Comm Kits. These kits are designed to be worn under the Army Combat Helmet (ACH) but can also be worn with other helmets, stand alone or mounted to ARC Rails for those of you lucky enough to own a high cut helmet. The Peltor COMTAC is a trusted tactical communications and hearing protection headset that is field proven by law enforcement and militaries world wide. It helps provide protection from hazardous steady-state and impulse noise while still allowing below threshold noises to still be heard by the user, increasing situational awareness. The dual comm part of these headsets allows end users to connect two separate radios allowing them to be connected to more than one “net” at a time. The Peltor COMTAC ACH Dual Comm kit includes a dual comm headset (2 leads for 2 radios) with ACH headband, Microphone, x2 AAA batteries, x2 ACH helmet pads, x2 Peltor PTT’s, carry bag and instructional materials. Overall these are a great add to those in comms or infantry positions within the military, work in law enforcement or just a civilian shooter looking to protect their hearing.
