These are ALFA1 Micron Water Filters for the ALFA1 Filtration System. These filters are designed to filter water making it safer to drink when access to clean water is unavailable. The ALFA1 Water Filter is a 2-stage system that filters bacteria, viruses, chemical & bad odor and heavy metals. The first stage is a UF hollow fiber membrane microfilter that does most of the heavy lifting while the second stage is an activated carbon fiber capsule to catch the rest. Filters are rated to filter up to 500 Liters of water and are extremely user friendly, simply screw the filter into the underside of the ALFA1 Filtration System cap. Additionally the filters are 100% recyclable making them eco friendly as well.
