These are USGI style ALICE 200 Round SAW Pouches in 3 Color Desert. These pouches are modeled off the issued ALICE 200 Round SAW pouch that was issued within the US military until ALICE was replaced by MOLLE. These pouches have the same features as their issued counterpart. Those features include a hook & loop/ button snap secured flap, drainage grommet, side pouch stiffeners, ALICE attachment points, belt loop as well as a addition grommet tab for attaching ALICE suspenders to. • Fits M249 Ammo Drum – Holds 1, 200 round SAW ammo box or 200 rounds 5.56mm loose linked ammo securely.
• Pouch Hook and Loop Closure – This pouch has an adjustable hook and loop closure to keep its contents secure.
• Pouch Button Snaps – Has button snaps that securely close flaps.
• ALICE Compatible – This item uses the ALICE, All-Purpose Lightweight Individual Carrying Equipment, system. This system was used by the US Military starting in 1973 and was replaced with MOLLE gear. The system uses simple metal clips (slide, belt keepers) to mount pouches and accessories to webbing on gear and equipment.
