This is a decent stuff sack. I’m not disappointed that I got it (it put me over the $100 mark to get that 10% discount) but under normal circumstances I’m not really sure it’s that great of a value compared to commonly available bags on the market which are cheaper new than this is used.

The nylon is pretty average quality but has held up well. My bags flap that covers the cinch hole is very frayed around the edges but still functional; It’s more annoying than anything. The compression straps work well. It’s a little weird that there’s not a “cap” that covers the open end like most compression bags have but it hasn’t caused me any troubles yet. The size is nice. I have a full size foam mattress pad about an inch thick that I put in the bag, it goes in easily and compresses down a fair bit. I was transporting it in a Costco trash bag before and it would fill that. This is easier to use and packs much smaller.

Overall it’s a fine bag, but unless you really have a reason to get this one (you’re refuse to use anything but milsurp?, you have to have US made / Berry compliant bags, or like me it helped you save 10 bucks) I don’t think it makes sense to spend nearly twice as much on a stuff sack as one you can get anywhere else online.
