I did not purchase this bag from this site, however, I felt it was appropriate to leave a review. I purchased one of these bags while I was in the military, and while I hate the fact that it’s made in China, it held up to some serious abuse while out in the field. The main reason I purchased it was because my issued assault pack was in ACU (aka the worst camo pattern in existence), and I wanted something in OCP to blend in a little better. Mine spent approx. 3 months total in the field, both at JRTC and in Fort McCoy, WI. It got rained on, thrown around in humvees and LMTVs, used as a pillow, etc… Whenever I was on foot, this bag was on my back. It shows signs of use but no rips or tears, and no zippers separating. It does hold a lot of equipment but is pretty easy to overload considering the lack of a frame. Don’t plan on putting a bunch of heavy items in it. That being said, it does work well as a RECCE patrol bag with all the necessary creature comforts you would need for a couple days worth of an operation. Build quality is decent, shoulder straps and back padding are comfortable, cordura does seem a bit thin… If it was made in the US with an internal frame, it would be the cats ass. There are much better options out there, but for the money this isn’t a bad bag. Keep in mind my sample size of one…
