This is an flame resistant Padded War Belt setup from Eagle Industries. This setup requires an additional belt, for best function, that is passed through a sleeve in the belt. With the additional belt the….. belt can then be secured around the waist. The belt (not the additional one you’ll provide to close it up with) is padded for all day comfort. Maybe, depends on how much you load it up. Across the belt is MOLLE webbing for pouches and accessories. The belt includes matching suspenders that buckle to the belt. The suspenders allow you to wear the belt above the hips and distribute some weight to the shoulders. The belt has enough MOLLE to carry a full combat load and is a good alternative to an FLC if you don’t need a backpack’s worth of pouches on your kit. The belt and suspenders are flame resistant and this setup was most likely issued to aircrew and people that needed lightweight kit and worked around fire hazards.
