Description
This is a H Harness from Eagle Industries. These H Harness’s are lighter weight than the older generation harness’s, but not a Version 2 piece of gear. The harness has MOLLE webbing along the belt portion allowing the user to mount pouches and other accessories easily. The harness can be adjusted for height and waist with adjustable straps. The harness is a great way to set up a lightweight rig that can be worn over body armor. Made of 500 Denier fabric, making it lighter and thinner.

- Spilt Front Rig – Chest Rig or Vest is Split Front. This means that in the front there is a zipper or buckles that allow the rig to be easily donned/doffed over existing layers or body armor. Split Front rigs also allow the user to lay down in the prone position easier and lower by opening the front of the rig.

I got the other version of this but its exactly the same just slightly different material (this one is lighter which I would say is better).
Its a great harness but you will notice after trying it on that its freaking HUGE around the waist no matter how tight you adjust it. I’m kinda skinny so this was a problem. I almost returned it because of that but then removed the center back panel and it fit perfect after that. You should still be able to mount things to your back even without the back panel.
You’ll also notice you can open up the bottom of the panels. I’ve been told this is because they were meant to accommodate floatation devices that you could slip in there. Kinda sucks that they don’t open from the top but whatever. Its comfortable, highly functional, and seems extremely durable so I’m happy with it.
