Description

The RRV is about as good as it gets to a standalone platform to rig up a kit on. With a ton of MOLLE webbing and adjustable straps where you need them the RRV wears nice and carries everything you need. The shoulders are padded and can be worn in an “H” fashion (straight) or ‘X” (crossed. The front panel has a hidden pocket for flat or small items and the bid has interior pocket as well. The bid can be folded down too, making the RRV into a fancy TAP. The RRV can accept a front ballistic plate of the 10×13 type that is secured by a pocket slot and adjustable strap. These are great for any level of use and fit over body armor. Whether you’re just getting started with tactical gear or have been into for a while these are a go to for a solid kit base.

Features:

  • Adjustable Height and Waist – Can be adjusted to fit wearers height and waist.
  • Adjustable Padded Shoulder Straps – This has adjustable padded shoulder straps for extra comfort when carrying a load.

I purchased a used one and was thrilled to see it in packaging and in amazing condition. One of the best prices out there!!

  2. Dave (verified owner)

As advertised. Purchased used, arrived in excellent shape like new. Would recommend a second person to help tighten the straps in the back, but do-able by yourself. Plenty of room for adjustment, I’m 5’11”, 180 lbs

  3. Travis Larson (verified owner)

Great carrier at a great price, all the eagle ind. items I purchased in “defective” quality seem more like “lightly used”. Fast shipping too. Buy with confidence!

Awesome piece of kit. Be sure to get the H back strap connector, they sell it separately, its only a few bucks extra. Otherwise the back straps cross up which might work for some people. But it rides a whole lot better with it. They should mention this in the description. Hint Hint Venture surplus. Anyway. Dont hesitate if you’re considering this chest rig the quality is the best and your getting it at a great price

  5. Bob (verified owner)

These are so well built that I ordered 2. Great for all types of set ups.

  6. Nico Tuason (verified owner)

Purchased a “defective” rig and I’ve been able to get so creative with it after watching y’all’s YouTube video. I now have what I believe to be the most versatile rig I ever put together. Shipping was fast too I won’t forget that.

How does it come “Rhodesian”??? The MOLLE system (visible on your pictures) was introduced in 1997. However, it did not see widespread issue until after the September 11, 2001, attacks. Rhodesia ended its existence as a country in 1979. Can you explain please?

Its not Rhodesian from that era. Its the name of the style that Eagle Industries, they decided to name them “Rhodesian Recon Vests” but you are absolutely correct, these were not put out until the early 2000’s. To be clear, this is not Rhodie gear.

So I believe there was a specific plate made for the RRV's. That said, I have been able to put a USGI medium front plate in it without issue, it fit pretty solid and tight. I think those are considered 10" x 12.5" in size.
