Emerson Combat Pants, Woodland Camo

Description

These are combat pants from Emerson Gear in woodland camo. These pants are overall pretty solid quality, and use some of the same materials as US- made combat pants. These pants have the typical suite of pockets on the thighs, cargo pockets, and ankle pockets common in combat pants, and can also accept Crye style kneepads. They do lack the elastic typically found around the kneepads on US made combat pants, but they have reinforcement on the stress point. The waist is adjustable with hook and loop, as well as the knees and ankles. The pockets close with hook and loop flaps, and the cargo pockets have elastic loops on the inside which are useful for holding magazines, water bottles or other similarly sized objects, as well as a knife pocket that leads into the cargo pocket. Overall these are great pants for the range, hiking, or general outdoor use.

Because of their origin, these pants tend to run small so you will most likely want to go a size up.

• Woodland Camo Pattern – Created and issued from 1981 onwards. Based on the ERDL camo patterns used throughout the Vietnam War and afterwards, specifically the 2nd pattern ERDL, RDF ERDL. The biggest change over earlier ERDL patterns was the enlargement of the patterns and shapes found in ERDL. The colors were also the same with light green, dark green and brown being used. Black would be used in twig shapes across the base colors. Woodland Camo is commonly referred to just as BDU or M81. M81 is an unofficial name for Woodland Camo that comes from its adoption date, 1981. It was used across the US Military till individual service branches replaced it with modern camo patterns.
• Adjustable Pants Cuffs – Pants cuffs are adjustable with drawstrings, hook and loop tabs or other methods.
• Thigh Pocket – Has pockets on the thighs for small items such as notebooks and dip cans. I mean compass.
• Ankle Pocket – Pants have a pocket near the cuff for small items.
• Non Regular Item – This item is a ONE OFF or Non Regular Item. This means that we do not expect to receive more of this item. It was a special case for being available For Sale. Restock is VERY irregular or it is an item that may have changes in style or features upon restocking (custom non-standardized Raid Mod Tops for example).
