This is a new Gentex helmet retention system in foliage green used by the US Army. This improved helmet retention strap gives the wearer more comfort when the helmet is worn over a long period of time. The retention system has a padded leather nape in the rear for more comfort and better fit. Along the interior of the chin chin strap is soft leather for comforts and sweat absorption and on the outside are two velcro adjustment straps for exact fit.
