These are KDH Modular Integrated Communication Helmets (MICH) with Accessory Rails. These helmets are designed to protect you noggin from common battlefield hazards. The MICH has seen usage throughout the US Military and Law Enforcement Agencies and was the go-to helmet until it was replaced by the ACH. The MICH was a huge upgrade over the aging PASGT Helmet that had been in use since the early 80’s. The revised shell shape, chin strap and suspension assembly made the helmets easier and more comfortable to wear compared to their PASGT predecessor. The KDH MICH is rated and compliant with NIJ Standard 0106.01 for Level IIIA protection meaning this helmet will defeat most pistol caliber or lesser threats. The helmets feature a 4 point chin strap, D30 pads, padded nape and accessory rails for all those cool guy attachments.
