Description
This is the large rucksack issued within the US Army. This ruck is a great, sturdy backpack for carrying everything you could need while out and about. The external frame is sturdy and can carry heavy loads safely. The large main compartment has a zipper divider for keeping bulky items organized. The divider turns the bottom section into a completely different compartment, accessible by a zipper on the outside. You can close the main compartment with a draw string and a large flap. The adjustable buckles ensure that everything stay tight and secured. Also, the sustainment pouches on the sides are great for keeping essential items easy to access. You can cinch down bulky loads by using the compression straps on the side.

Jrot (verified owner) –
I bought a supposedly defective ruck, expecting it to require some minor repairs and be heavily used and me looking up tutorials on how to attach the frame and strap assembly and mount and adjust it on the main bag.. I’m pleasantly surprised. I don’t think it was ever issued. It doesn’t smell musty, I found no defects, the MOLLE loops are so new it’s kinda difficult to weave the pouches onto it, there is no “pinking” ( like the way the lighter gray areas of ACU Digital will turn pink-ish after a bit ), draw strings and locks are perfect, the sustainment pouches and every aspect of the ruck look as if they just came off the assembly line. I looked with the proverbial fine toothed comb and I swear it looks brand new. But wait, there’s more! Not only did it come already assembled for me, apparently somebody at Venture Surplus is psychic because it was adjusted perfectly for me and rides exactly how and where I want. They even gave me a sticker, which I will put on my guitar amp so death metal fans every place we play will see it. What a great value for 50 bucks, ZERO complaints. Thanks, Venture Surplus, I will definitely buy from you again, lots. Now, if only they carried AK-47/AKM stuff…….
