This is LBT-6178A Modular Ammo Box. The Modular Ammo Box was designed to give wearers of LBT’s Infantry Patrol Pack easy access to linked 5.56 or 7.62 ammunition. It can do this due to its MOLLE mounting solution allowing for the pouch to be mounted externally to the Infantry Patrol Pack or any MOLLE compatible pack. The Modular Ammo Box features dual zipper/ snap button closure, removable hook & loop divider, 4 MOLLE straps, carry handle and a hook and loop flap to keep the box closed when the zippers are un-zipped. Overall, this is handy solution to carrying that loose linked ammo.
