Description

This is the M1951 Field Shell Trousers that were used in the US Army as a part of the cold/dry extreme cold weather clothing system. The trousers are made of wind resistant cotton sateen material and are compatible with pant liners for extra warmth. The trousers have button snap back, hip and cargo pockets. Along the waist are suspender points, suspenders NOT included. The pants are zippered with a buttoned waist. At the leg cuffs there are drawstrings for adjusting the cuffs. The trousers are wind resistant and are not meant to be worn in wet conditions.

These ARE NOT directly compatible with M65 pant liners!

  • Pants Back Pocket – Has pockets on the seat of the pants.
  • Pant Cargo Pockets – Has large pockets for bulky items on the pants legs.
  • Pant Suspender Points – Pants have built in points for attaching suspenders, suspenders not included unless otherwise specified!
  • Adjustable Pants Cuffs – Pants cuffs are adjustable with drawstrings, hook and loop tabs or other methods.
  • Wind Resistant – This is wind resistant which means that it helps break the wind and keep the wearer warmer.
