These are Massif FR Winter Army Combat Shirts (WACS for short) The Massif WACS is a cold weather version of the standard Army Combat Shirt. Many of the same features of the standard Army Combat Shirt are present in the WACS but with a twist towards usage in colder weather. Like the standard Army Combat Shirt, the WACS features a turtleneck collar, zippered shoulder pockets, reinforced elbows, forearm pen compartment, hook & loop adjustable sleeve cuffs and loop fields for name/rank/patches. Where the WACS differs most is the materials used for construction. The WACS is constructed from a heavier weight Nomex based material for the main body and a Nomex/Cotton blend for the sleeves. This usage of heavier weight materials allows the WACS to retain more heat over standard Army Combat Shirts allowing for usage into weather below 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Overall, the Massif Winter Army Combat Shirt is a great choice for those who love combat shirts and would love to wear them into the colder seasons.
