The North American Rescue Emergency Trauma Bandage has been designed and perfected based on After Action Reviews from real combat situations. It is designed to be easy to use and to provide secure immediate pressure to the wound. The ETD (Emergency Trauma Dressing) is similar is overall appearance, use and function to the standard Israeli Emergency Bandage and is a good alternative to the Israeli. The Abdominal/ Stump ETD is purpose built for controlling massive bleeding in the abdominal region or on limbs when they have been unceremoniously removed by a battlefield hazard.
