This ferro rod and striker combo is a perfect add to any camping or survival gear for those times matches or lighters are not available. The kit includes a ferro rod that is 4 inches in length overall with a 2.75 inch long ferro section and a striker that is 3 inches in length and has a millimeter ruler and 1:10,000 map scale ruler stamped into it. Additionally, the two components are secured together with a piece of cordage to ensure the striker is always with the rod.
