Description
This is a USGI Optical Instrument Case in woodland camouflage. The interior of this pouch is padded for keeping your optics safe and secure. On the inside if the top flap is a small elastic pouch for small items or batteries. Securing your items inside the pouch is easy with a buckle closure for the top flap. The pouch attaches to your gear with two ALICE clips. This is a great pouch for keeping small optics and other expensive items safe while you are out and about.

- ALICE Compatible – This item uses the ALICE, All-Purpose Lightweight Individual Carrying Equipment, system. This system was used by the US Military starting in 1973 and was replaced with MOLLE gear. The system uses simple metal clips (slide, belt keepers) to mount pouches and accessories to webbing on gear and equipment.

Ordered a “defective” pouch, received one in very good condition, no noticeable fading, no holes or loose stitching, just a little dirty and some slight rust around the grommet. A quick scrub and its good as new! Not sure what optics were meant to fit in this as it’s rather large (maybe an old NV clip on?), but it does just barely fit a 1L Nalgene, or a 750ml camping stove a bit more comfortably. Camo pattern is a little different than the rest of my M81 gear but for the price I have no complaints.
