Michael Sessler –
Highly recommend this parka and the matching pants. Me and the boys were out doing some training over the weekend and the weather was…wet. It had rained nearly an 1 1/2 inches overnight and was back and forth between a light mist and heavy drizzle while we ran react to contact drills in a soaking wet hay field for 3 hours. This was a great test of the gear as the first reaction to contact was drop to prone.
Even after swimming around in the that hay field for a couple hours, I was completely dry. The knees, which I was sure would soak through after slamming them into the wet mud countless times were also completely dry. They were comfortable and breathed well enough that I wasn’t sweaty (it was about 55 degrees). I hung them up to dry then brushed off the dried on dirt (which wasn’t much) and they look like new.
Really couldn’t be happier with this gear.
