These are Patagonia LVL 5 PCU Soft Shell Pants in AOR 1. These pants are similar to standard issue ECWCS LVL 5 pants but cooler as they are made by Patagonia for cool people. The Patagonia LVL 5 PCU Pants are water and wind resistant and made to fit over base layer clothing. Additional features include hand pockets, zippered thigh pockets, zippered cargo pockets, suspender loops, button/zipper closure, elastic waistband, lower leg zipper with shock cord at the ankles and removable soft knee pads. The Patagonia LVL PCU pants also feature belt loops to support use of belts. Overall, these are a great pair of pants to wear in tandem with your thermal base layers when moving around in wet or cold conditions.

Features:

• Elastic Pant Waistband – Waistband on pants is elastic for proper fitment.
• Elastic Pant Cuffs – Cuffs around ankles are elastic for fit and to prevent debris from entering clothing.
• Thigh Pocket – Has pockets on the thighs for small items such as notebooks and dip cans. I mean compass.
• Pant Cargo Pockets – Has large pockets for bulky items on the pants legs.
• 1/4 Length Pant Leg Zipper – Pants legs have a 1/4 length zipper from the bottom. This aides when donning and doffing the pants while wearing shoes.
• Wind Resistant – This is wind resistant which means that it helps break the wind and keep the wearer warmer.
• Water Resistant – It can be exposed to water for a short period of time without being damaged or saturated with water. Generally not recommended to submerge Water Resistant items unless item is made for that level of exposure.
• Pant Suspender Points – Pants have built in points for attaching suspenders, suspenders not included unless otherwise specified!
