Thinner helmets may have issues with gaps around the rails and thicker helmets will be too thick for the included hardware or issues with mounting rails due to increased thickness.

These are Revision Viper Modernization Kits. These kits are designed to take your full-cut Revision Viper or ACH helmet to the next level by including several components to upgrade your helmets capabilities. Included in each kit is a chinstrap with a twist dial retention system, 9 dense foam pads, 3 soft foam pads, hardware kit, Revision rail and NVG shroud system, 4 rail accessories, a Multicam full-cut helmet cover and an instruction book. Overall, these are a great way to take that older full-cut Viper or ACH helmet into the modern era so you can use all the fancy gadgets and gizmos that the cool guys mount to their helmets.

Disclaimer: The Venture Team tested and found The Revision Viper Modernization Kits have a weak point in the chinstrap that is used with the twist dial suspension system. The plastic ends where the chinstrap mounts to the helmet are prone to breaking if handled roughly, effectively rendering it inoperable. At this time we are unaware of a potential replacement or substitute chinstrap that could be used with the twist dial suspension as the chinstrap is only sold with the twist dial suspension system when purchased new from Revision.
