Description
This is a 8 inch Large Wound Emergency Bandage from Safeguard Medical. The Safeguard Medical Bandages are being used in more of the current Military and Army Issue IFAKs. These bandages are designed to control massive bleeding from wound up to 8 inches in size. Bandages work in the same way as the famed “Israeli bandage” or the North American Rescue ETD by applying pressure when secured to control bleeding from the wound. Once the wound is wrapped the rest of the elastic bandage can be run through a plastic windlass to ensure the bandage remains tight. Overall these are a great add to any major aid kit for both civilians and professionals alike.
