Safeguard Medical Nasopharyngeal Airway (NPA), 28 Fr

This is a Nasopharyngeal Airway (NPA) from Safeguard Medical. These NPAs are being used in a lot of the new Army Issue IFAKs. The NPA’s was designed to secure and maintain an open airway on a patient who has suffer wounds to the face or head. The Safeguard Medical NPA features a medical grade silicone construction so the NPA retains its shape, come’s pre lubricated, a beveled tip to ease insertion and a distal flange on the end to secure the NPA to the patient. These NPA’s come sized at 28 Fr (Fr stands for French, sometimes referred to as Size 7) which is considered universal size for small to medium adults. Overall, these a great add to any intermediate to high level IFAK or aid bag used by individuals in professions where head trauma may occur.
