Safeguard Medical Sentinel Chest Seal

These are Sentinel Chest Seals from Safeguard Medical. These chest seals are being used in a lot of the new Army IFAKs. The Sentinel Chest Seal is designed to control massive hemorrhaging from chest wounds. The Sentinel Chest Seal features a vented design that allows the release of blood and air while maintaining a 360-degree seal on the wound which minimizes the risk to tension pneumothorax. Additionally, the Sentinel Chest Seal features a transparent construction for clear view of the wound, a non-water based adhesive, 2-part peel and stick design for accurate placement and a multilayer channel design that minimizes vent occlusion. Overall, these are a great add to any IFAK or aid bag.
