These are Snugpak Military Mountain Leader 3 (MML-3) Softie Smocks. These MML-3 Smocks were designed by Snugpak with input from instructors and military personnel with the idea of creating an outer layer that is ideal for those operating in colder climates. The MML-3 Softie Smock is constructed from a Paratex Micro outer material, Paratex Light liner and Softie Premier insulation making for a warm smock that is both water and wind resistant. The Snugpak MML-3 Softie Smock is rated for usage in temperature ranges of 32 to 23 degrees Fahrenheit. The MML-3 Softie Smock features a 1/4 zip closure, 3.5 x 4 inch loops fields on the shoulders, zippered hand pockets, elastic cuffs with thumb loops, lower jacket cinch, neck/ collar cinch, zippered kangaroo pocket with loop field on the flap as well as an additional smaller pocket with D ring and hook & loop closure. - Water Resistant – It can be exposed to water for a short period of time without being damaged or saturated with water. Generally not recommended to submerge Water Resistant items unless item is made for that level of exposure.
- Wind Resistant – This is wind resistant which means that it helps break the wind and keep the wearer warmer.
- Insulated – Item has an insulated lining.
- Shirt 1/4 Zip closure – This shirt has a 1/4 zip closure which means that it is a pullover that has a zipper that goes about 1/4 of the way down the shirt.
