The Torrent Jacket is constructed from a 100% nylon material with a 100% polyester “Softie” insulation, taped seams as well as waterproof external zippers. Additionally, the jackets feature a two-way zipper closure, 2 exterior waist pockets, jacket drawstring, internal chest pocket, adjustable sleeve cuffs, armpit vent zippers and a removable hood with cinch (zips off). Snugpak lists these jackets as being rated for temperatures down to 14 degrees Fahrenheit (that’s -10 degrees Celsius for you metric system enjoyers) making them great for those late autumn/ winter days where temps really start dropping.
