These are Specter Open Bottom Smoke Grenade Pouches. These pouches were designed to be a lighter weight option to a standard fully enclosed pouch. In addition to being lighter the open bottom allows for water to egress from the pouch uninhibited and allows users to more easily push the smoke grenade to the top of the pouch for easy retrieval. The pouches feature a hook & loop/ buckle closure and can be mounted with a single MOLLE strap or MALICE Clip (NOT INCLUDED). While initially designed for smoke grenades we’ve found these pouches are excellent soda/ energy drink or Tourniquet pouches.
