The included helmet mount is for use on PASGT, MICH, ACH or ECH helmets.
This is a Streamlight Sidewinder Compact III Kit with Helmet Mount. The Streamlight Sidewinder Compact III is a multifunction military light system with 4 light colors outputs, a beacon mode and 2 mounting methods. The Sidewinder Compact III features red, blue, white and IR/IFF light functions allowing the end user to select the ideal lighting for the situation. The beacon mode can be activated in any color by simply turning the knob to the desired color while the light is off then just a simple double click the power button should initiate the beacon mode which flashes at 50 blinks per minute. The helmet mount version of the Sidewinder Compact III can be worn in 2 ways, direct to MOLLE with the included body mounted clip or helmet mounted when attached to the included mount. Sidewinder Compact III’s are powered by either a single CR123 battery (included) or AA battery. Overall, these Sidewinder Compact III’s make for a great hands free administrative lighting solution.
