Streamlight Sidewinder Light, Military Version

Description

This is a Sidewinder Military Light from Streamlight. It can easily attach to a belt or MOLLE surface with the included clip, and hinges at the top to keep it from rolling when you drop it. The military designation specifies the light colors as being White, IR, Blue and Red as opposed to the Aviation model which includes White, Green, IR and Blue. In addition to having 4 color modes, each color also has adjustable brightness and a strobe mode that can be activated by clicking the button twice when activating it. The brightness is adjusted by simply holding down the “ON” button. To cycle through the different modes, simply pull out on the ON button and rotate it between white light, IR, red and blue. The IR position has a small tab above it that is tactile to prevent white light ND’s, and the white light position is opposite the IR to minimize the risk of activating one when you need the other. Two AA batteries power the light, and the cap for the battery compartment is captured with a metal cable so you don’t lose it. There is a small lanyard hole on the battery compartment for additional security. Overall this is a great flashlight for anything from working on your car to general field use, to signaling aircraft with the strobe.
