These are water resistant, NOT waterproof. These rain suits will keep you protected and dry for short periods of time but are NOT waterproof. Not for extended wear in heavy rain and constant exposure!
This is a 3 Piece Rain Suit from UJF. Included are a pair of Pants, a Jacket and a Carrying Pouch. The 70 Denier Ripstop nylon is lightweight and water and wind resistant. The jacket is zip up an adjustable hood. The cuffs are elastic and the waist is adjustable. There are also waist pockets and a spot for the wearing of rank sleeves. The hood is adjustable as well. The pants have an elastic waist and 1/4 zip legs for ease of donning/doffing. Cargo pockets on the pants are great for light items. The carrying pouch fits both pieces ease for storage. Overall this is a good to go top and bottom set for the summer and winter that can be used as a soft shell or wind jacket type layer. Pair these with some thermal layers and they keep the wind and water off, all while keeping the warmth in. These are made to be worn over regular clothes, so go with your normal size. Size up if planning on wearing it to cover multiple layers.

Features:
- Water Resistant – It can be exposed to water for a short period of time without being damaged or saturated with water. Generally not recommended to submerge Water Resistant items unless item is made for that level of exposure.
- Hood With Adjustable Drawstring – This item has a hood with an adjustable drawstring.
- Jacket Drawstring – This jacket has a drawstring at the waist that can be tightened or loosened. This helps the wear regulate the warmth and comfort of the jacket.
- Pant Cargo Pockets – Has large pockets for bulky items on the pants legs.
- 1/4 Length Pant Leg Zipper – Pants legs have a 1/4 length zipper from the bottom. This aides when donning and doffing the pants while wearing shoes.
- Elastic Pant Cuffs – Cuffs around ankles are elastic for fit and to prevent debris from entering clothing.
- Elastic Pant Waistband – Waistband on pants is elastic for proper fitment.
- Elastic Wrist Cuffs – Cuffs around wrists are elastic for fit and to prevent debris from entering clothing

The description is honest and accurate. For those familiar with windshirts I’d say this is a step up in water resistance but obviously still not a completely waterproof jacket. I wore the top a few times this week in light to medium rain and it worked perfectly, I was completely dry. Very light and easily packable. You can stuff the top and bottom into the bag and they’ll fit, but folding makes it more compact/neater. While on sale for $50 this is an excellent deal. Use as a light rain jacket or layer with it.
