This is a 1945 pattern canteen pouch that was used by the US Military. It has wool lining on the inside to keep the water inside the canteen from freezing or getting too hot. It is designed to fit the M1910 canteen and canteen cup, and closes with two button snaps. Overall, this is a functional pouch with tons of historical significance that is becoming harder to find.
