This is a 20th Engineer Battalion Unit Crest Pin. These crest pins are authorized for wear on a Soldier’s dress uniform indicating their affiliation with that unit. The 20th Engineer Battalion was activated in 1917 as the 20th Engineer Regiment. The 20th is currently assigned to the 36th Engineer Brigade and III Armored Corps, and is currently headquartered at Fort Hood in Texas.
