US Army 4th Aviation Regiment Unit Crest Pin

These are 4th Aviation Regiment Unit Crest pins. These crest pins are authorized for wear on a Soldier’s dress uniform indicating their affiliation with that unit. The 4th Aviation Regiment was activated in 1957 and is still active to this day. The 4th Aviation Regiment was constituted into the regular army April 1st 1957 at Fort Lewis, Washington and was assigned to the 4th Infantry Division. The 4th would go on to participate in the Vietnam War as well as the Iraq War. The 4th Aviation Regiment is still attached to 4ID and is currently garrisoned at Fort Carson in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
