This is a US Army 88th Infantry Division Patch. This is a WWII era full color patch. The 88th Infantry Division has been activated and deactivated twice in its history. These activity dates are 1917-1919 and 1921-1947. During their second activation the 88th saw most of its action during the Italian campaign of WWII in which they spend roughly 344 days in combat.
