A brief history lesson, OPFOR stands for Opposing Force and the Green 483 uniform is worn by 1st Battalion, 509th Infantry Regiment, Nicknamed “Geronimo”. The 1-509th has played OPFOR for the last 35 years at the Army’s Joint Readiness Training Center. The job of OPFOR is to simulate an opposing force for the purpose of training US Army troops for real world conflict situations.

This used BDU cut set is in good overall condition with some minor flaws. The shirt is missing a single button, and shirt/pants have some small stains throughout. (SEE PICTURES) The shirt is a 99’ contract Type XIII hot weather top made by American Apparel and the pants are from a 96’ contract made by Lajas Industries. This comes as a set and is sized Medium-Long for both shirt and pants. Please note this item is a ONE OFF or Non Regular Item. This means that we do not expect to receive more of this item, was a special case for being available for sale.
