These are US Army Intermediate Cold-Wet (ICW) Boots in Desert Tan. These Boots were issued to US Army personnel for use in intermediate cold or wet operational environments. Boots conform to the Department of the Army’s Pamphlet 670-1 (DA PAM 670-1) regulations on boots. However due to the Army’s adoption of OCP these regulations were updated, making the Desert Tan version of ICW Boot no longer regulation for wear on duty as of October 2019. These ICW Boots feature a desert/ sand colored, rough side out cattle leather construction with GORE-TEX lining, a polyurethane midsole for shock absorption, Rubber outer sole with lug pattern for traction, closed loop speed lace system and are compatible with ICW Boot Liners for additional insulation. The ICW boot is rated for use in cold or wet environments that range from 14 to 60 degrees Fahrenheit making them a great choice for use during those fall to winter months. Outside their usage within the military, the ICW Boot has long been a favorite of the outdoor adventurers or just about anybody in outdoor labor jobs for their robust construction and weather resistance that provides great foot protection at far more affordable costs.
