These are US Army Master Parachutist Badge Pins. These Badges are authorized for wear on a soldier’s uniform who has completed the requirements to obtain a master level parachutist badge. To be awarded a Master Parachutist badge one must complete 65 minimum jumps in which 25 of those must be with combat equipment, 4 night jumps and 5 mass tactical jumps. Additionally, the individual must have graduated from the Jumpmaster Course or the Airborne Department of Infantry School or the Jumpmaster school of a separate airborne battalion or larger and has served on jump status for a total of 36 months.
