Description
This is a pair of AOR1 APECS pants that are used in the US Navy. These water and wind resistant pants are meant to be worn over other layers in wet/cold weather environments. The waist pockets are pass through and the cargo pockets function as cargo pockets. The 1/4 zip pant legs ease donning/doffing and the belt loops do belt loop things really well too. Overall this is a good pair of wet weather pants for rain and snow.
Features:
- Waist Drawstring – These pants have a drawstring that allows the wear to adjust the waist to the perfect size.
- Zippered Pants – Pants crotch is zippered.
- 1/2 Length Pant Leg Zipper – Zipper running half way up pant leg to aid in putting pants on and taking them off when worn over other clothes and boots.
- Pass Through Pocket Flaps – Open Flap pockets for reaching through and accessing layers worn underneath.
- Pant Cargo Pockets – Has large pockets for bulky items on the pants legs.
- Water Resistant – It can be exposed to water for a short period of time without being damaged or saturated with water. Generally not recommended to submerge Water Resistant items unless item is made for that level of exposure.
- APECS – All Purpose Environmental Clothing System. APECS is similar to the US Army ECWCS hard shell systems. They are lightweight and are less noisy then their ECWCS equivalent. APECS is primarily a USMC clothing system.
