Description

This is a All-Purpose Environmental Parka that was used in the USAF. The hood is stow-able and adjustable and the coat has a full length zipper with storm flap. Each shoulder has a hook and loop pocket for storing gear easily. Chest pockets are zippered and there is a sleeve for rank sleeves on the chest as well. The waist pockets are flap closure and have a hand pocket underneath as well. The torso and waist and both be adjusted easily for best fit with adjustable cords. Under each armpit is a zippered opening for increased breathability. Overall this is a good, durable rain coat for any season.

Features:

  • Full Length Zipper – Has a zipper going the full length or near full length of the item.
  • Chest Pockets – Has pockets on the front of the chest.
  • Jacket Drawstring – This jacket has a drawstring at the waist that can be tightened or loosened. This helps the wear regulate the warmth and comfort of the jacket.
  • Adjustable Sleeve Cuffs – Sleeves have either a button or hook and loop adjustable cuff for fit and wear.
  • Stow Away Hood – There is a stow away hood in the jackets collar for inclement weather.
  • Hood With Adjustable Drawstring – This item has a hood with an adjustable drawstring.
  • APECS – All Purpose Environmental Clothing System. APECS is similar to the US Army ECWCS hard shell systems. They are lightweight and are less noisy then their ECWCS equivalent. APECS is primarily a USMC clothing system.
