Description
These are flame resistant pants from Massif that were used by the US Air Force. These are meant for wear in harsh conditions as a soft shell layer. They are wind, water and flame resistant but still comfortable due to the fleece on the inside and 4 way stretch material making up the outside. They feature fleece lined waist pockets, as well as two large ankle pockets and one back pocket. Zippers run from the ankles to the knee on either leg to allow for easy donning and doffing while wearing boots. The waist is elastic with an adjustable belt and zipper fly. The belt buckle is an oversized Fireman’s Friend buckle, which is easier to undo while wearing thick gloves, so you can still use it in extreme cold temperatures. Overall, this is a great pair of pants for cold weather that also offer some FR protection.
