Description
These are USGI Chaplains Bags. These bags are issued to US Military Chaplains giving them a place to store and transport religious items for services in the field. While these bags may be simplistic in construction they do pack a number of features. The first of these features is the 3 methods of carry: the Chaplains bag can be slung using the 2 “D” rings and a sling, MOLLE mounted or ALICE mounted via the included straps and webbing. This allows for the chaplain’s bag to be easily used as a general purpose satchel or pouch in a pinch. Beyond the carry methods the Chaplains Bag features a hook & loop closure, buckled closure, internal stiffeners, internal pocket, adjustable carry sling and a drainage grommet. Overall, these are great bags for the aspiring field priest or as a handy way to drag some extra ammo or gear to the party!

Please note currently available UCP Chaplains Bags are constructed from 50/50 NYCO as opposed to the usual 500D Cordura.

- MOLLE Compatible – This item is compatible with MOLLE webbing.
- ALICE Compatible – This item uses the ALICE, All-Purpose Lightweight Individual Carrying Equipment, system. This system was used by the US Military starting in 1973 and was replaced with MOLLE gear. The system uses simple metal clips (slide, belt keepers) to mount pouches and accessories to webbing on gear and equipment.
- MOLLE Webbing – MOLLE webbing on exterior for attaching additional pouches and accessories.
- ALICE Webbing – Has ALICE compatible webbing on the exterior for attaching ALICE and other compatible accessories.
- Includes D Rings – Has plastic D Rings attached for mounting to other gear. D Rings may not be removable.
- Pouch Hook and Loop Closure – This pouch has an adjustable hook and loop closure to keep its contents secure.
- Buckle Closure – This has a buckle closure to secure the contents inside.
