This is a Single Cold Weather MRE Meal used by the US military. These cold weather variations are given to troops operating in colder weather environments where standard MRE contents may freeze and be unconsumable. While most of the snacks will be reminiscent of a standard MRE these cold weather ones contain a freeze-dried Mountain House meal as the main entrée. Some entrees may come in a brown bag or may be in a commercial Mountain House bag as pictured.

USGI Cold Weather MRE's do  not include a ration heater. Main meal is freeze dried and requires hot water to "cook"
