Description

These are Insight Technologies PSQ-18A Day/ Night Sights for the M203 grenade launcher. The PSQ-18A gives the user a single sighting solution allowing them to utilize their underslung M203 grenade launcher regardless of time of day or lighting conditions. The PSQ-18A features iron sights for day sighting, IR laser for night sighting, IR illuminator for nighttime PID, dual analog & digital range scale (shows elevation for ranging) and a M203 barrel mount. Starting at the iron sights we have a fixed front post with elevation adjustment. The rear sight has windage adjustments as well as two different sight apertures to choose from by simply flipping the desired one up. The IR functions have 3 settings: laser only, low laser + illuminator and high laser + illuminator. A selector switch located on the bottom of the device allows the user to select the desired mode while a switch on the right side of the M203 clamp activates the unit. The lasers can be zeroed/ adjusted via 2 adjustment screws located on the unit’s main body. The PSQ-18A features a digital and analog range scale. Due to the low velocity of 40mm rounds one must angle the launcher to achieve the desired distance. A simple rotary knob located on the bottom of the device allows the user to adjust the angle of the sight in order to have the proper sight picture and angle on target. During daytime hours the user can make these adjustments by referencing either the digital screen or the analog gauge, at night when or when visibility is poor one can make easy adjustments by reading the digital screen as they turn the knob. The PSQ-18A utilizes a clamp mechanism to attach it to the M203. These mounts are proprietary to the M203 and are not compatible with other launchers. A single AA battery powers the device and is placed withing the clamp. So whether your building a clone rifle that used one of these or simply wanna be able to “BLOOP” at night the PSQ-18A is for you.

*These units DO NOT have a visible laser, a night vision device is required to see the IR laser.*

**These units will ONLY mount to an M203 grenade launcher. To Mount it any other way, it will most likely need to be a homemade mount.**

***Defect Condition Note: Defect condition PSQ-18A’s may display the following issues; missing/ broken day sights (front or rear), missing battery compartment cap or cracked brackets/ housings. These units are best for spare parts to repair other units.***
