CONDITION NOTE: These sleeping bags are from the Vietnam era and are likely over 50 years old, bags will have staining or small holes from age/ use.

These are MC-1 Sleeping Bags from a Cold War Era USGI Rigid Seat Survival Kit (RSSK). These sleeping bags are a component of the Cold Weather version of the RSSK which was issued to USAF and USN pilots operating over cold weather/ winter environments. Like the rest of the RSSK these sleeping bags would have been attached to the pilot’s ejection seat so it went where they went after ejection from the airframe. The MC-1 sleeping bags are a mummy style design constructed from a nylon inner/ outer with 100% real down filling for insulation. The sleeping bags came in two closure types: a left zip bag and a slide-in style bag with top cinch.
