This is a MOLLE 4000 Rucksack in use by the US Army. The MOLLE 4000 was adopted by the US Army in 2019 and is slated to replace the current MOLLE II large rucksack. The ruck features 2 points of access to the large main compartment, at the top is a draw string closure with flap and at the bottom is a zippered access point. The main compartment also features a zippered divider for compartmentalizing the ruck. Additionally the MOLLE 4000 Ruck Bag features 6 fixed external pockets (3 mag, 3 GP), compression straps, MOLLE webbing on pack lid/ left/ right sides, carry handle, separate lower zippered compartment and an external loop field. These packs are ready for airborne operations and feature the necessary pass throughs to attach to a jump harness. Overall this a large, feature packed ruck that’s sure to help you get from A to B regardless if you’re just an avid hiker or airborne operator.
