This is a MOLLE medic vest that was used in the US Military. The vest is similar to the Fighting Load Carrier and has large MOLLE webbing fields on the vest portion, but no waist belt with MOLLE. The vest is compatible with ALICE pistol belts. The shoulder pads are adjustable and thickly padded for comfort. The MOLLE webbing fields are large enough to fit all the pouches you need, whether for medical supplies or ammo pouches. The vest secures to the wearer with adjustable buckles and is adjustable for height and waist fit and can be worn over body armor.

US Army MOLLE Combat Medic Vest –
I bought one of these Combat Medic Vests a few years ago. I ran across them on another surplus site and they disappeared quick. I bought the one I have from Gibson’s outside of Fort Bragg. I haven’t seen any offered until now and it’s in woodland! My previously purchased vest is in ACU. This is authentic USGI gear with an NSN so I shouldn’t need to say much. This Combat Medic Vest is basically the MOLLE version of the LBV-88 vest which was issued in the late 80’s throughout the 90’s and up to the MOLLE era. Like the LBV-88 there are belt straps at the bottom of the vest to attach an ALICE pistol belt if desired (I desire). Unlike the sewn on mag and grenade pouches of the LBV-88 this combat medic vest is covered in MOLLE webbing to attach pouches at user discretion. This Medic version was issued with 4 GP type buckle closure pouches (med supplies) with MOLLE straps to attach to vest. I paid approx. $100 (new) for the ACU set several years ago – so this is a STEAL but I think I bought the last one – sorry! Like much else opinions vary on combat vests – some say they’re too hot enclosing the upper torso although it’s a mesh breathable material like the FLC. The big complaint with the LBV-88 was the sewn on fixed position of the 4 mag pouches that only fit GI mags not Magpul or others. The MOLLE version allows the user to attach whatever pouches they require and placed anywhere. The additional ALICE belt space allows one to hang more mag pouches, canteens, a pistol, etc. The heavy padded shoulder straps and full torso adjustability makes this vest a loadout haulin’ hog! What’s not to like? Now you can be a ‘Recon Ranger’ too!

Was looking for something like the LBV-88 but this has MOLLE on the front so I can set up pouches how I want.
I picked a “defective” option but it looks brand new. The only thing was the adjustment buckles on the shoulder straps had some rust and oxidation on them but some CRC cleaned them right up.
The price can’t be beat and they shipped right away.
