These are USGI MPU-5 Joint Service Aircrew Mask (JSAM) Pouches. These pouches were designed to carry the MPU-5 JSAM which has replaced older legacy rotary wing specific protective masks that were in use by the US Military. The pouches similar in design to the M50 JSGPM Pouch but are larger overall to accommodate the MPU-5 mask and all its additional aircrew specific accessories. The pouches are comprised of a single main compartment that is constructed from 1000D Cordura and feature a hook & loop pouch closure, external hook & loop pocket, drainage grommets and an 2 adjustable waist/ body straps.
