These RBAV carriers DO NOT Included Any Ballistic Plates or Soft Armor, vest only.

This is a USGI Releasable Body Armor Vest or RBAV for short. The RBAV was designed to allow soldiers to be able to quickly doff their body armor in an emergency situation. It does this through a pull cord that’s centrally located at the top of the front plate bag. When pulled, the plate bag’s and cummerbund separate from each other allowing one to be easily extracted from their armor. The RBAV is constructed from 500D Cordura making it durable but lighter weight than its 1000D Cordura counterparts. The RBAV features a generous amount of MOLLE webbing for mounting pouches/ accessories, adjustable shoulder straps, adjustable cummerbund, adjustable inner stretch cummerbund, drag handle, front plate bag wing pockets, is SPEAR/ BALCS soft armor compatible, hard armor compatible and is releasable. So whether your just looking for a solid body armor carrier or trying to defend your local burger town the RBAV is for you.

These RBAV carriers DO NOT Included Any Ballistic Plates or Soft Armor, vest only.

SIZING:
Small: Torso Height 13.5″ / Chest up to 37″
Medium: Torso Height 14.5″ / Chest 37″ – 41″
Large: Torso Height 15.5″ / Chest 41″ – 45″
Torso Height it based off Navel to Collar, that is the area that ballistic plates should sit for proper fit and wear.

Features:

Can Hold Ballistic Plates – Ballistic plates can be held within included plate pockets.
MOLLE Webbing – MOLLE webbing on exterior for attaching additional pouches and accessories.
Releasable Body Armor – Body armor has a release handle and cord for emergency doffing of armor. This is for situations when the body armor has to be taken off in a hurry, such as due to injury or when submerged in water. THIS IS NOT FOR REGULAR DONNING AND DOFFING. Body armor comes apart and must be completely put back together when release cable or handle is pulled.
Adjustable Fitment – Includes adjustable straps to for proper fitment.
