USGI Vintage Wet Weather Parka

Description

This is an old school wet weather parka that was used in the US Military during the Vietnam Era. The parkas are fairly simple and are zip up with a hood. There are waist pockets and the cuffs can be adjusted. At the hood is a fold up hat bill to help keep water off the face. The parka is oversized to fit over uniforms worn underneath.

These are New Old Stock. Due to age and since these are Vietnam era, and sitting in a box for a long time these need to be aired out before use. It’s just due to the treatment and material that the parkas are made of. There is also some discoloration along seams due to age. It takes a day or two hung up to get the smell off and after that they are good to go. Recommend airing out somewhere like your garage or back porch.
